Our debut release! We started making "Miracle" the first time we played together. the whole album was recorded in basements, practice spaces and living rooms around Bellingham and Seattle. a whopping 19 tracks of classic weird-out costume rock, done our way exclusively. Miracle took forever to record, and is a labor of love for every one of us. contains the great anti-establishment punk song "Skinned Knees" and brainless punk song "Ferarri Turbo" as well as the intellectual ode to physicist Richard Feynman "Los Alamos" and literacy anthem "Literate Man"

Before Stubby Abbot was the frontman of A Gun That Shoots Knives, he was a child model and promising young novelty folk singer. his friends enjoyed his songs, and he had a reputation through the hundreds of home-made cds he would give to everyone he knew. when an oppotunity arose to record a studio album, he asked his girlfriend Sherry Palmer and his friends Steve Moffat and Sasha Landis to record it with him, and they called themselves the electric blanket. contains the Shel Silverstein-inspired "50 Guys Named Jim" and "Cuban Missile Crisis"

Miracle 'Knife' Poster
